Safety Site Engineer – OHTL Job Vacancy In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Project Information:
Project Type: 500KV HVDC – OHLT
Project Location: Western & North Western Region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Project Description: Construction Management as Consultant to perform construction management and inspection services for the construction of (+/-) 500KV Overhead Transmission Line between Madinah, Tabuk and Aqaba, approximately 852.75 KM long total .
Key Responsibilities:
Identify the common hazards & unsafe practices likely to be found in the workplace & know the appropriate protective measures to be taken.
Reviews and assist work groups in the development of site Job Safety Analyses and Risk Assessments and monitor their implementation with the site management.
Promotions of safety awareness of workforce at all levels through proactive attitude within the project team and contractors
Incident investigation, root cause analysis and timely close outs of accident/incident reports.
Timely issuance of corrective action requests for immediate action directly to Contractor HSE Management.
Maintain inspections of the job site and report any unsafe acts or conditions to Contractor HSE for immediate corrective actions.
Assists in the formal investigation of accidents/incidents & near misses and recommend corrective action measures.
Preparation and submittal of Weekly & Monthly Safety Reports to PMO/SEC
Participate in Emergency drills, trainings, walk troughs’ and audits.
Follow up inspections to ensure that corrective actions have been fully acted /accomplished
Monitor Contractors loss prevention program in conjunction with SEC Loss Prevention Procedures.
Qualifications, Experiences, & Skills:
Graduate in Engineering or equivalent and minimum industry certification from internationally recognized agency (OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.) acceptable to SEC.
8 years of experience.
4 years of experience as a Safety Engineers on Extra High Voltage T/L or HVDC project construction.
