The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials, products and services to meet the company’s operational needs. This role executes the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery as per the company’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Execute the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance. Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Process and issue RFP/RFQ/RFI by following procurement Standard Operating Procedures.
Identify potential suppliers and vendors based on product or service requirements. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery speed.
Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to identify cost-saving or revenue generation opportunities. Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. Negotiate volume discounts and favorable payment terms with suppliers.
Ensure that purchased products and services meet quality standards and specifications. Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality in line with 5 R’s – Right Quality – in right quantity – at right place – at right time and for right price. Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, or invoices.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks by conducting due diligence on suppliers and monitoring supplier performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies. Collaborate with other departments to understand any future needs and requirements.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including spending analysis, savings achieved, and supplier performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Administration or in any related field
Supply Chain Certification
Preference will be given to those with Engineering background
4 to 5 Years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain
Experience in Real Estate and Owner’s Association
Vendor Management experience
Proficiency in using procurement software and systems for sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations and contract discussions.
