Dubai English Speaking School are recruiting for a highly passionate, motivated and flexible Production Technician with specialisms in Videography, Editing, Photography and Design, with an overall love of content creation.

You should be used to working in a fast-paced environment and motivated to work alone and within a small team, to develop exciting content in multiple formats to be used across traditional and digital platforms.

You should be good at juggling multiple projects and tight deadlines, with the confidence and communication skills to script, direct, produce, edit and advise on the best content outcomes and oversee the creative process from inception to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

· Filming, photography and designing of promotional material for the successful marketing of DESS.

· Scheduling, filming and editing a Weekly Vlog which is published weekly through our social media channels, highlighting the week’s events, activities, stories and news from students, teachers and staff.

· Managing Filming/Photography requests, arranging to meet staff to discuss their requirements and the timely completion of their requests.

· Updating a work schedule on an ongoing basis.

· Maintaining and updating an online photo and video library of DESS stock images; this requires photos and videos to be taken on a daily basis of activities around the school

· Supporting DESC with filming of events as required.

Requirements:

· Experience of Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop is essential. Knowledge of After Effects would be advantageous.

· Capable of working independently to a production schedule.

· The ability to take responsibility and ownership of each project.

· Ability to organise, prioritise and multitask under pressure is essential during busy periods of the academic year.

· The ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive story.

· Ability to ensure completion of all projects to their deadline.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels from primary children up to Senior Management.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

· Ability to handle and take care of expensive and fragile filming equipment.

· Occasional projects may dictate working after school hours and at the weekend, as well as beyond the School premises.

· Must represent DESSC in a professional manner at all times.
