Senior Mechanical Engineer Jobs in Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities
Review mechanical plans, calculations, models, specifications and related documents for compliance
Monitor site activities to verify continuous compliance with approved plans, specifications and applicable codes
Review BIM information to ensure completeness and accuracy;
Witness site inspections and commissioning activities as needed
Coordinate with mechanical consultants to ensure Lowest Total Cost of Ownership;
Ensure compliance with best practices pertaining to energy efficiency, sustainability and operability
Stay up to date with latest technologies, trends and best practices.
Grant approvals, approve revisions and coordinate with other disciplines;
Advise and consult with architects, engineers, contractors, builders on mechanical requirements policies;
Attend site visits and resolve field related issues;
Assist in the training of new mechanical engineers;
Prepare all communications electronically through emails, texts, and other approved electronic media;
Perform site visits to confirm existing conditions;
Study and research new code requirements
Provide technical support to management and leadership
Knowledge of mechanical codes and ordinances, including energy efficiency provisions
Qualifications
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Masters from accredited university
8+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
Membership of a relevant Professional Body
Candidates should have Iqama Transferable
Candidates current location should be in Saudi Arabia
