JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Technical Sales Engineer/ Business Development
WORK LOCATION: Qatar (GCC countries Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain & KSA)
FUNCTIONAL AREA: Sales /Business Development
LANGUAGE SPEAKING: English & Arabic (mandatory)
JOB DETAILS:
· Excellent relationship-building and communication with good sales skills as a sales engineer. Good technical
understanding with an Engineering qualification, Industry experience in heavy machinery/equipment, civil
construction, projects /site work, and mining or tunneling companies.
· Good Exposure to GCC markets for heavy equipment and industries.
· Travelling to visit potential clients. Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers,
updates, and information of every market & region.
· To ensure clients’ and your own company’s needs are met, you’ll liaise regularly with other sales personnel,
and colleagues from other departments such as research and development, design, purchasing and
production, and senior Business Development Managers.
· Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers. Managing and interpreting customer
requirements.
· Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs, calculating client quotations.
· Negotiating tender and contract terms & negotiating and closing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions and
offering after-sales support services.
· Administering client accounts, Analyzing costs and sales preparing reports
· Meeting regular sales targets, recording and maintaining client contact data coordinating sales projects and
customer support.
· Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
· Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
· Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
· Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
· Solving client problems. Helping in the design of custom-made products.
· Providing training and producing support material for the sales team.

EDUCATION:
· Should have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical eng. (B.Tech) or Civil Engineering
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
· 5-10 years of experience selling excavator attachments like hydraulic hammers, demolition shears, etc.
· 8 yrs or more as Site Engineer/ project engineer in infrastructure projects like drainage and tunneling projects
and construction project management.
