We are looking for Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate should possess a Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Certificate in Auto Cad and at least 8 years of experience in the AutoCAD drawing of process equipment’s like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Storage Tanks in fabrication industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Preparation of GA & detail drawings by AutoCAD as per client datasheets and GHI design calculations
2. Preparation of Weld Map Sketch as per process requirements and GHI design calculations
3. Preparation of Non-standard Forging Sketch as per GHI drawings and design calculations
4. Preparation of Purchase Requisition & Specifications (PRS) as per GHI drawings
5. Preparation of Design Change Note (DCN) as per GHI design revision
6. Preparation of Spare Parts Data Package (SPDP) as per GHI drawings.
7. Printout of above mentioned doc., self-check, get signature from review & approved.
8. Prepare BOM and MTO of the drawings.
Skills & Competencies
1. Good knowledge of relevant Codes & Standards used in the Oil & Gas Industry.
2. Ability to do manual design calculations.
3. Should have hands on experience in process equipment’s like pressure vessels, heat exchangers
etc., as per international codes like ASME, API, TEMA, BS etc.
4. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision
technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
5. Shall have exposure to ISO-9001: 2008 or 2015 Quality Management system and ASME U, U2,
S & R Stamp certification Audit.
6. Should be familiar with Saudi Aramco or Sabic specification and standards.
