We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in computer science to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our technology projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to drive project progress and achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities:
-Project Planning and Execution:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
-Stakeholder Management:
Engage and communicate with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
Manage expectations, address concerns, and negotiate project priorities and deliverables.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
-Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor individual and team performance.
Facilitate effective decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving within the team.
-Risk Management:
Identify project risks, assess their potential impact, and develop risk mitigation plans.
Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project progress or outcomes.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and security standards.
-Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance project management methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, ClickUp, MIRO).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
