Role Summary

Lead activities designed to enable development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple categories through strategic supplier development and selection process to ensure optimized time to market, best value delivery while meeting business requirements in terms of financial targets, quality, delivery, regulatory, contracting and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall planning, leadership and execution of all strategic Procurement activities and ensure appropriate alignment between suppliers, procurement associates and technical cross-functional teams
Align overall sourcing strategy for new product development work and ensure clear communication of material/design requirements, schedule, and project deliverables
Support other business Procurement needs as assigned
Responsible for managing supplier evaluation for development and qualification activities
Execute and manage continuous improvement in areas of Purchases.
Strong Analytical Skills: Able to work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company
Evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.
Strong Decision-Making Skills: Able use the information gathered by yourself and the purchasing agents to make decisions on behalf of your company.
Strong Negotiating Skills: Able to work with suppliers to create the best deals. Negotiating skills will help create those deals.
Monitor day-to-day activities of procurement to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
Manages Service & Quality from suppliers, while seeking the best Value to the company.
Manages new project with coordination with the technical team.
Create and maintain an environment towards commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm to synchronize team’s energy in a tight-knit and competent group of people to attain higher level of team performance.
Ensure a culture of family orientated work environment founded on trust, honesty, transparency, with open communication and fair dealing with the maintenance of Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals high standard of work and work ethic.
Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign, and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of purchasing department.
Plan, manage and review individual performance of purchasing staff and provide regular feedback and coaching, with the aim to capitalize on individual strength and taking prompt action in the areas of improvements. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain , engineering or any relevant degree .
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the same field.
Fluent in both English & Arabic.
Certification in CSCP /CPIM .
Candidate must have solid SAP experience .
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
