Role: Strategy Management Manager/ Senior Manager

The Role:

Experienced manager to lead the planning, performance management and periodic reporting. The role will require dealing different stakeholders across the organization and working directly with leadership on key tasks

Key accountabilities:

Strategic Planning

Oversee the update of strategy, objectives, KPIs and initiatives in coordination with relevant stakeholders within an organization
Evaluate strategy execution performance and drive change when necessary
Lead performance management for internal and external purposes
Facilitate the development of strategic short, medium and long-term business & financial plans in collaboration with the Financial Planning Manager and organizational units
Manage special projects as “internal consulting team” that are complex and require significant analytical ability and problem solving with many stakeholders involved.
Oversee risk management practices on objective, initiative and KPI level, and relevant escalation(s)
Participate in key committees induced through the organizational governance model
Improve the processes of the function and initiate necessary changes with business excellence function
Performance Management

Oversee performance management practices
Custodian for the performance management process: collection, analysis, consolidation and reporting
Ensure internal and external performance reporting cycle expectations are met
Gauge external performance reporting requirements and ensure the organization meets requirements (e.g. quarterly and in the respective content format)
Liaise directly with the organizational departments impacting the strategy to collect the necessary decision making information
Collaborate closely with PMO function to understand project performance below initiatives
Assist cascading the strategy to execution body level when needed (prompted by strategy manager)
Follow-up on updating strategic objectives according to changes, developments, and external and internal factors (support triggered by strategy manager)
Skills/experience required for the role:

Strong knowledge of strategic planning and performance management frameworks
Certified strategy manager (eg. BSC, OKR…etc)
Strong experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Strong communication skills – written and spoken – in English
Strong presentation skills with team and senior leadership
Skilled at managing stakeholder groups and working towards common goals
Skilled at managing teams and mentoring them professionally
Very good prioritization skills to balance key priorities
Ability to deal with issues directly, firmly, and in a timely manner; doesn’t allow problems to fester; regularly reviews performance and holds timely discussion.
