Job Brief/Purpose:
Responsible for delivering all media needs (Print, Social Media, Digital, Photo, Video, Newsletter, OOH, Ads, Animations). Works collaboratively with the Head of Marketing to deliver all strategic documents (brand guidelines, brand playbooks), marketing assets (websites design UI UX, apps, emailers, Gifs, videos, social media assets, brochures, print ads, …) and campaigns for Khansaheb Group (email campaigns, print, OOH). Speed of execution, experience in designing sites and social media frames as well as operational discipline are key criteria for this senior graphic design role.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
1. Ideation: Ideating and creating illustrations, logos, layouts and all artworks to be used on print and digital materials, social media, websites, retail, marketplaces, malls, sales galleries, office environment
2. Marketing Material Production: Overseeing the production of all online and offline marketing materials developed by adhoc design agencies (ex Landor as part of the rebranding of the Group, printers, web development agencies as part of the heavy website rollout plan 2022 2023). Pre-production and post-production (audio/photo/video files). Creation of strong imagery and videos for social media. Development of social media videos and Gif animations. Editing of videos with audio and text. Development and photoshopping/enhancing of images. Must treat copy as part of the design for impact and accuracy. Proofreading is critical for all projects. Coordinates with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc., to complete projects.
3. Brand Development Guidelines: Development of brand identity, brand systems and brand guidelines as a formal manual for agencies and marketing references, based on detailed marketing brief and core positioning provided. Updating the brand guidelines on a regular basis
4. Creative design Execution: Conceptualization and execution of the creative design strategy for ad campaigns. Creation of strong imagery and videos for social media. Pre-production and post-production (audio/photo/video files). Development of social media videos and Gif animations. Editing of videos with audio and text. Development and photoshopping/enhancing of images.
5. Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies as necessary to maintain an up-to-date awareness of new trends, applications, software etc.
6. Any other tasks assigned as required by the business needs.
Experience Knowledge and Skills:
1. Educational Requirement: Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
2. 10 years+ in graphic design in a diversified environment in Dubai (real estate, FMCG and/or luxury)
3. Proficiency in English. Arabic reading, typing and proofreading is a strong plus
4. Proofreading skills is a must have (digits, copy, design layout for spacing and alignment)
5. Experience in developing brand guidelines and designing responsive websites
Technical Skills:
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat), Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe After Effects / Adobe Premier for video editing, Advanced skills in photoshop, CMS: Word Press, C-Panel basics to upload documents on the website if needed, HTML coding for emailers, Animation, Video and images post-production for social media, Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PPT), UX/UI practical experience for website / landing page development
