Sustainability Engineer (Chemical/Industrial Plant) Opportunity in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Our Client:
One of the world’s leading producers of Methanol and Butane diol as well as a principal suppliers of Tetrahydrofuran and other specialty chemicals. Recently the company has expanded its product range with Gamma-Butyrolactone.
Qualification & Criteria:
· Nationality – OPEN
· B.S. or equivalent in Engineering, Environmental Science or relevant discipline.
· Minimum of five years of experience in Manufacturing of Petrochemicals.
· Strong technical and analytical experience
· Able to handle complex data sets in line with ESG framework requirements such as GRI, ESRS and CDP.
· Understanding of energy sector
· Prefer work experience in Utilities or Product Stewardship.
Duty & Responsibilities:
· Monitor of implementation by initiative teams towards roadmap, targets & KPIs
· Coordinate manpower resource requirements across sustainability initiatives
· Coordinate and conduct regular meetings with Implementation teams
· Manage identified risk and develop mitigation plans across sustainability initiatives portfolio highlighting benchmark and challenging requirements
· Prepare content for Mgmt. meetings on sustainability progress
· Develop required support material and analysis for items requiring leadership decision-making
· Ensure collaboration between other businesses for initiative execution and best practice sharing
· Consolidate KPIs/metrics by coordinating with initiative teams and functions
· Track and report KPIs for sustainability priority areas
· Prepare internal reports and provide inputs for Management, Board, CPR
· Identify areas for improvement and lessons learned
· Deliver and execute initiatives directly owned by sustainability department
