The Senior Sales Assistant position is for our very own VAO Concept Store, located in Dubai’s outdoors shopping destination, City Walk.
What will you be doing?
The candidate to this position must consider to be based in our VAO concept store at City Walk in Dubai. You will be responsible to assist clients on the shop floor, acquire new clients, grow and maintain existing client relationships.
Furthermore, you will be responsible to partake in different store related activities like VM maintenance, replenishment, transfers, inventory management, and team building activities.
Responsibilities
Client acquisition and relationship building to drive loyalty
Managing and maintaining existing client database
Achieve monthly individual targets and store targets
Engaging in one to one private appointments with clients
Use effective selling techniques, e.g. up-selling and cross-selling, to maximize business potential
Engage new clients and build a database using social media and digital selling techniques
Engage in after sales activities to follow up with store clients
Engage in daily store related operations (shop floor maintenance, VM, transfers, etc.)
Inventory management & stock ownership
Contribute to building a positive working climate and a team founded on sharing information and best practices
Coordination with eCommerce team to manage stock and process orders
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in sales within a fashion and luxury environment
Strong and rich client database within luxury and fashion segment is a must
Strong knowledge of different social media platforms (Instagram, Whatsapp, Snap Chat, etc.)
Sensitivity towards the product & product knowledge
Good knowledge of market and fashion trends
Goal and task oriented achiever
Predisposition for assisted sales and team work
Good listener and curious
Proactive and highly motivated
Arabic and English fluency are a must
