We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team.
As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and uptime of our systems, with a primary focus on achieving 99.9% SLA support. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks related to automation systems, control devices, communication networks, and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to maintain uptime and achieve a 99.9% Service Level Agreement (SLA), ensuring our systems operate at peak efficiency.
Constantly working on our automation systems, your goal is to enhance their fault tolerance to 99.9%, making them more robust and reliable.
You will handle various control and measuring devices, including sensors, controllers, power supplies, and executive equipment, ensuring their proper functioning.
You will set up and commission barriers, gate automation devices, induction and optical sensors, ensuring their seamless integration into the overall system.
Proficiently work with PLCs and input/output modules, specifically Owen and NetPing, while adhering to established principles of operation.
You will interact with equipment used for cash handling, such as banknote receivers, coin receivers, hoppers, and bill dispensers, ensuring they function accurately.
Responsible for constructing cable communication networks, including copper, optics, and wireless solutions, to facilitate efficient data transmission.
Work with both Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems, managing and troubleshooting them effectively.
Utilize your expertise in electrical engineering and electrics to handle various technical aspects of the job.
Interact with technical and IT teams to ensure seamless coordination and cooperation between different departments.
Analyze incidents related to errors, downtime, and malfunctions on sites, quickly identifying and implementing solutions.
Promptly process incoming requests from operators and technicians, as well as from service providers, to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Monitor the status of servers at different facilities to proactively address potential problems.
Work with the team using the Agile SCRUM methodology, collaborating on tasks and projects through a ticket system.
Qualifications and Skills:
A strong background in engineering, preferably with a focus on automation systems and control devices.
Preferably experience with ANPR/ALPR systems.
Proven experience with PLCs, input/output modules, and related principles.
Proficiency in building and managing cable communication networks.
Competence in working with Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems.
Strong electrical engineering knowledge and practical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address issues promptly.
Prior experience with Agile SCRUM methodology is a plus.
