We are looking for Electrical Estimator for our MEP Company in Dubai. Those with minimum 3 years experience only need to apply. Candidates can send cv to [email protected]
· Responsible for studying the tender documents and providing the Estimating Manager with a priced estimation sheet and other tender deliverables for the commercial proposal, as required.
· Ensure all areas of risk and errors are highlighted and reported through qualification/technical notes to Estimation manager .
· Ensure the use of the most up to date information when considering plant and labor rates and materials and other information for the preparation of the commercial proposal.
· Request written quotations (Complied offer as per tender documents) from suppliers, and Keep track the status from coordinator.
· Obtain quotations from subcontractors and service providers, ensuring that they can include the necessary information regarding the scope of service required. Summarize the gathered information on comparison report. Negotiate and review diligently their offers.
· Suggest possible alternatives as VE options explaining the benefit to the client. (Cost/technical/delivery).
· Communicating with clients/consultants to ensure including all the requirements during tender with the knowledge of estimation manager.
· All estimators/ quantity surveyors should ensuring implementation and execution of key activities like quantity surveying, verifying drawings, quantities and calculations as per tender document.
· Maintaining cost engineering data base and preparing offers for urgent basis tenders in short span of time by referring to database and referring to experience and knowledge.
· Preparation of checklist before mid-tender review meeting.
