GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Occupational Therapist is a hard-working, resourceful and motivated OT therapist that wants to become a senior member of our team and strives to provide excellent service to our families.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, be confident and be willing to be the best therapist within themselves. Outside of that, we value experience. The Occupational Therapist assesses visual-motor integration, visual perception, cognition, fine motor skills, and sensory processing. Provides Occupational Therapy Evaluations and treatments as documented in the plan of care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides direct therapy services for Occupational Therapy
Observes, records and reports patient’s response to treatment
Manages a client’s clinical programming.
Maintains consistent, reliable schedule with clients
Evaluates and documents the effectiveness and outcomes of care on an ongoing basis and makes revisions as needed
Plans for discharge as appropriate
Instructs other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting the patient to improve
Provides training and on-going support to caregivers and clinical team members.
Produces program updates, reports and paperwork with accuracy and timeliness.
Complies to company’s policies, procedures and timelines.
Other duties that may be offered and agreed to: Workshops and/or Trainings on specific topics in Occupational Therapy, School Trainings, Parent Training, or other duties that are related to the field of Occupational Therapy.
