Senior Process Control Engineer
Reference, approve, and create any design, development and implementation of new regulatory, sequence and advanced control, optimization, blending control, and expert system applications. This includes:
a) Discussion with Operations /Process to identify requirements.
b) Detailed process modeling, design, programming and testing of software.
c) Present projects to Process, Process Control, Management.
d) Documentation for the use and maintenance of the application.
Develop and implement Blend applications, Alarm Management System, special applications and advanced control applications.
Design, utilize, and implement advance applications for Monitoring and Trouble Shooting process control of the units.
Support Maintaining special applications, Analyzer Prediction, loop management, Alarm Management and Advance Control servers with the required interface tools.
Participate in refinery Real Time Optimization Projects
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENT
Bachelor in Chemical Engineering
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5 years of experience in Refinery / Petrochemical as Process Control/ Process Engineer
MANDATORY
Experience in Process Control application, Aspen tech DMC plus, Aspen watch
PREFERRED
Knowledge in Alarm management system, Control loop performance management, analyzer predication, Blending application, Real time optimization, Statistics, Planning skills, Systems work (Foxboro DCS system)
