Learning And Development Specialist
To coordinate and undertake the strategic planning and arrangements for SATORP’s learning & development activities and ensure effective delivery of courses and efficient utilization of available resources.
Support the Learning and Career Development Division with maintaining a database of training records and data, administrating system training module, providing annual training plan and budget, reviewing procedures, handling and organizing logistics related to the training programs and submitting regular reports and statistics on learning activities.
Description:
Assist in the preparation of annual training plan and calendar and identify SATORP’s training objectives, methods and requirements.
Participate in the assessment and validation of training performance and effectiveness and ensure that all forms and templates are appropriately completed by all concerned.
Develop and implement L&D strategy that is aligned with organization’s strategy.
recommend alternative trainings if not available.
review and update L&D procedures to be aligned with HR Policy.
Ensure having complete competency assessment of all positions and employees and therefore, providing the IDP that is used as the bases for employee’s development.
Liaise with SATORP’s Departments to identify and analyses employees’ learning and development needs and prepare feed this into the Training and Career Development annual plan.
Utilize related system to administer and maintain all training records, files, manuals and course information.
Liaise with training providers to obtain and review training course information, recommend suitable courses and maintain training syllabus, timetable, attendance and evaluation.
Search and evaluate instructors and training providers to ensure their capability to provide quality training courses.
Provide information to SATORP’s employees regarding training arrangements via telephone, email or face to face.
Prepare a detailed annual plan of the L&D budget and activities required to fulfill customer needs.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports trainings conducted and impact on SATORP’s skill gap, for Manager’s review.
Establish and develop ongoing relationships with credited training providers and organizations.
Ensure alignment of training cost with L&D annual budget in the operating plan.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Learning and Development Superintendent.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Business Administration, Human Resource or equivalent.
Certification (If Required):
CIPD, SHRM, PHRi (Preferred but not required)
Minimum Experience:
Eight (8) years of experience in Learning and Development Programs Implementation, of which at least Four (4) years in a similar position.
