Shift WLL
Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of a company, allowing the organization to make well-informed commercial decisions. The Finance Analyst should have the ability to determine the best use of resources to achieve business objectives. The Financial Analyst is expected to produce regular reports using financial data and work collaboratively across the entire finance team to analyze business performance and strategy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Forecasts future revenue and expenditures to help determine budgets for upcoming projects.
Researches and reports on financial information, as well as monitoring financial movements within the market.
Analyses current and past financial data
Looks at current financial performance and identifying trends
Prepares reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business
Consults with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans
Suggests budgets and improvements based on the above information
Explores different investment opportunities
Develops financial models and providing financial forecasts
Develops initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth
Gather and organize financial data from all accounting departments
Compile and analyze financial reports and find discrepancies that require senior management’s attention
Manage the general ledger and devote time to risk management, especially with regard to accounts receivable
Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies
Forecast models for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases
Provide end of the month (EOM) reports for C-level executives
SKILLS
Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
Good verbal and written communication skills
Abreast of industry updates
The ability to work both independently and in teams is imperative
QUALIFICATIONS
8 years’ experience working in finance and/or accounting
Expert knowledge of Finance systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (Graduate Degree Preferred)
CFA Certification Preferred
Proven track record of working with large groups or teams to implement changes resulting from financial analysis
CPA certification
Demonstrated ability to assess credit risks accurately
Multi-site experience preferred
