Basic Function :
Uses analytical skills to prepare, compile the estimates of materials, manpower, and works in the tender stage of the project.
Duties And Responsibilities:
. Prepare Cost Estimates.
2. Review the Tender Documents, i.e. B.O.Q, Drawings and Specifications to recognize the scope of the Project.
3. Coordinates with Design department for any special or more complicated designs.
4. Coordinates with Project Manager and/or Site Foreman for determining man-hours for special and irregular designs as well as any possible site access requirements.
5. Preparing sketches for proposed design estimate. (In the Tendering stage).
6. Coordinates with Purchasing Department on any changes in material prices.
7. Coordinates with Finance department and update any currency exchange variations in due course.
