About the role:
On behalf of our client, The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Vehicle Maintenance Manager to work in the Sea Mobility/Port division for a pioneering giga-project in Saudi Arabia. The main purpose of the role is to manage the design, maintenance, and planning of the existing and future fuelling needs of Cargo Handling equipment and facilities.
Key Accountabilities:
Overseeing the maintenance and management of Solar PV systems.
Collaborating with various trades to provide guidance on energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy.
Handling the procurement, installation, commissioning, and ongoing operations of the equipment and facilities related to fuelling at the port.
Contributing to the decision-making process for procuring fuelling systems and maintenance contracts.
Managing the maintenance and upkeep of electric vehicles and charging systems.
Ensuring the proper maintenance of Battery Energy Storage systems.
You will need to be:
The ideal candidate should hold an IOSH certification or an equivalent qualification, showcasing their commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. An Electrical Vehicle Maintenance Training certification highlights their expertise in servicing and maintaining electric vehicles and associated charging systems. It is also crucial for the candidate to have the ability to train maintenance staff on inefficient maintenance practices and the safe handling of different fuels and methods. This skill is essential for promoting operational safety and ensuring high maintenance standards within the team.
Background, Skills, and Qualifications:
– Over 10 years’ experience with Electrical Vehicle technology, preferably gained in the field while servicing and maintaining equipment, with a preference for Container Port experience.
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
