We are hiring a Senior Estimation Engineer – Electrical/ELV
As an estimation engineer for ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and electrical systems, your main responsibility will be to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects related to the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, and other low voltage systems.
Desired Qualification:
B.E Electrical / B.E Electricals & Electronics
Minimum 10 Years Electrical/ELV estimation experience in reputed MEP company
5 Years GCC experience must
Must be locally available in Qatar
Your job duties may include:
Reviewing project requirements, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work and materials required for the project.
Preparing detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other project expenses.
Identifying potential cost-saving measures and proposing alternative solutions.
Collaborating with design and engineering teams to ensure that project requirements are accurately reflected in the cost estimates.
Maintaining accurate records of project costs and expenses, including change orders and other variations.
Analyzing and evaluating bids from subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitiveness and quality.
Preparing and presenting project cost estimates and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and other parties.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes related to electrical systems.
Participating in project meetings and providing technical support and advice to project teams.
Continuously monitoring industry trends and developments related to electrical systems and incorporating this knowledge into cost estimates and proposals.
To perform these duties, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. You should also be familiar with relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD and electrical design software, and have experience working with project management tools and techniques.
