Job Description

Position: Project Manager

Experience: 10+ years

Relevant: 5+ years in the banking domain

Work Location: Muscat

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners only

Objectives of this Role

Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements
Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plan and track progress on daily basis.
Provide necessary inputs and directions to respective resources in order to complete tasks on time.
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
Manage and report project status on a daily basis by tracking tasks assigned to respective resources.
Present project report include risk and issue registers to Project working committee on a weekly basis and steering committee on monthly basis.
Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors.
Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs.
Manage and report project issues to respective focal points and escalate issues as necessary based on project work plans.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Prepare change requests documents and submit and follow-up.
Follow-up on invoicing and payment collections.
Skills and Qualifications

10+ years project management experience
Hands-on experience with developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability
Proven success working with all levels of management
Working experience in Banking Doman.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification—including PMP/PRINCE II
Professional agile certification will be advantageous.
Previous success in banking software projects and application implementations.
Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
Experience developing in-house platforms for internal processes
Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.
