Ph.D. Studentship at the Department of Mechanical Engineering
A Ph.D. student position is available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, United Arab Emirates University. The research is focusing on the pulsed laser ablation process to produce colloidal alloys nanoparticles. The candidate must have obtained an MSc degree in material science, mechanical engineering, or related fields. Experience in fabrications and characterization of nanomaterials is a plus. The candidate must register for his Ph.D. for Spring/fall 2022 in Mechanical Engineering-UAEU. The requirements to be accepted to the UAEU Ph.D. program are:
A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4 with MSc or a minimum GPA of 3.7 with BSc
A minimum IELTS score of 6.5
Two letters of recommendation
If accepted the Ph.D. candidate may be supported by the UAE University for 4 years with a stipend, full tuition fee waiver, and health insurance (for more detail see: http://www.uaeu.ac.ae/en/cgs/scholarship.shtml).
