Infrastructure and System Senior Support Job vacancy In Saudi Arabia
Infrastructure and Systems Senior Support will be acting as a single point of contact with all business users from HO and store to support day-to-day operations covering H/W, network & infrastructure-related fields. In addition to support in opening new stores, designing network and so forth.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience
7+ Years’ experience in the retail industry with 5 years in a network & Operating System support role
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certificate is required.
5+ years of experience with Cisco networking technologies in both LAN and WAN environments
Strong communication (i.e., written and verbal) and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Experience preparing formal technology evaluations and proposals
5+ years of experience of the following Enterprise Virus Protection Suite (McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator), Enterprise Backup Services/Solutions (SYMANTEC Backup EXEC), Email Archiving Services/Solutions (SYMANTEC enterprise Vault) , Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Project & Microsoft Outlook, and Exchange Servers
Experience in different OS versions including installation and maintenance (Window, Linus & VMs)
Experience in supporting different computer devices such as laptops, desktops, printers and HHTs
Experience with LAN design including IP allocation and summarization, network segmentation, and VLAN definition and implementation
Knowledge of advanced routing and traffic engineering and filtering practices using route maps, prefix lists, and distribute lists
Expertise in many of the following protocols and technologies:
STP, RSTP, TCP/IP, IP, 802.1d, 802.1x, 802.1q, DS1/3, PIMv2, 802.11a/b/g/n, IPSec, 3Des, AES, PEAP, LEAP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, NHRP/DMVPN
Knowledge of the major router and switching platforms: Cisco and Fortinet
Wireless data network experience, including voice and QoS across a wireless network
Maintains Cisco switches, routers, Wireless Lan Controllers, firewalls, Voice Gateways, Kemp Load balancers, and other network infrastructure
Responsibilities:
Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; knowledge of Network Monitoring technologies
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and hotfixes
Work with business partners to manage internal cabling systems
Works in conjunction with IT manager to install, configure and maintain network Devices
Coordinate with Mobily for all links communications and any new link installation
Head Office Wi-Fi Network Administration
VPN Setup for all users working from home and offshore consultants with specific permissions as per requirement
New Hardware Purchase for HO to replace the hardware, which is End of Support
Deployment of any new hardware purchase for either HO or Store
Coordinate with vendors to get quotations, preparing BOM, follow-up for delivery and payment processing after hardware delivery
OGSM projects
Analyzing the drawing layouts for new and renovation of stores
Assist in the planning, designing, documentation & implementation of various systems including PC/Desktop & Servers
Develop, maintain & monitor procedures for Active Directory Services & Users Maintenance.
Maintain, monitor & report the Internet Access & Controls
Develop, maintain & monitor procedures for backups for PC/Desktop & Servers
Develop, maintain & monitor procedures for Protection against Viruses/Trojans/Worms
Develop, maintain & monitor procedures for Anti-Spam Protection
Plan, implement & monitor the successful deployment of Important Updates/Security Patches/Service Packs for the Servers & the Clients
Monitor, plan & coordinate the distribution of Client/Server software & Service Packs
Make recommendations for new Equipment & Services to purchase.
Manage the inventory of the Servers Hardware & Software Licenses for PC/Desktop & Servers
Create & maintain good Technical Documentation.
Create & maintain Servers Policies & Servers Security Standards
Perform other related duties as required or assigned
