The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter who is capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and the implementation of marketing projects. You will need to display versatility in order to handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, including, mall tenants, customers and media. Particular attention is to be paid to hotels and airlines, with a view to formulating and implementing joint marketing opportunities.
Developing advertising opportunities, particular use is to be made of the local press in the form of supplying information with the aim of receiving editorial coverage of events etc, free of charge.
Oversee and develop company websites, liaise with tenants to include promotions, discounts etc.
writing and distributing press releases;
managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers – including writing and proofreading copy and liaising with designers and printers; and arranging for any photoshoots etc where required.
Oversee the production of an in house magazine.
arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
maintaining and updating mailing databases;
organizing and attending events and exhibitions; (with reference and approval of the mall manager)
securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects;
carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
Evaluating marketing campaigns; the mall is equiped with an RCT Footfall counting system, the system is to be updated with details of campaigns and events.
monitoring competitor activity;
contributing to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies;
assisting in the delivery of approved strategies;
preparing and managing the marketing budget (to be approved by the mall manager)
Produce a monthly report on activities carried out, feedback on activities and planned activities.
Arrange monthly meetings (preparations of agenda and distribution of minutes) with tenants

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
