Worley is currently looking for an experienc Principal Geotechnical Engineer to be part of our team in UAE.
Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required
Include planning of Geotechnical Investigations, Soil Mechanics, Foundation design, seismic analysis, finite element modelling, Piling both marine and onshore, deep excavations, slope stability, earthworks design and ground improvement works. Deliver onshore and offshore development projects by executing project activities, including conceptual, FEED Design and detailed Design, Construction and Installation.
Conversant with British, ACI, ASTM, AASTHO, API codes, BRE & CIRIA.
Industry Specific Experience: Onshore and Marine Structures Geotechnical design, including ground improvement, gravity/ sheet pile wall retaining structures and piled structures
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Post Graduation in Geotechnical Engineering with 18- years’ of minimum experience in Geotechnical Engineering
Degree Qualification. Chartered Status preferred
HSE Capability: Demonstrable commitment to HSE
IT Skills: LPILE, Slope/W, Plaxis, Wallap, Settle3D. GIS (preferred) and power BI (preferred)
People Skills: Must be Client facing. Must be able to work with remote offices.
Other: Accredited or Ability to get Accredited with UAE Society of Engineers, Middle East Experience Preferred
