Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts department and ensure that the department operates efficiently and effectively.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing activities as per policies and procedures, maintain, and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Responsible for preparing daily funds flow and weekly cash flow forecast.
• Lead, delegate, and supervise accounting and other staff members involved in accounting-related transactions and tasks.
• Develop and implement department controls and procedures.
• Oversee, maintain and further develop accounting-related ERP accounting system.
• Liaise with auditors and also handle IKTVA and local content audits.
• Oversee physical verification of inventory and fixed assets.
• Preparing and completing the required reports and records accurately and in a timely manner to ensure that they meet the applicable standards and policies and submit them to the line official for review and approval in order to achieve the desired efficiency and excellence in performance.
• Preparing to forecast for AP and releasing all payments accordingly and maintaining DPO.
• Bridge the gap between shared service centers and the local team.
• Share ad-hoc analyses/ reports to the management as and when required.
•Assisting in month-end closing tasks & detailed variance analysis on the income statement.
•Reconciliation of finance data with OPS data.
•Preparing management KPI dashboards
•Standard pricing for all key products based on activity-based costing.
•Preparation of financial models, feasibility studies & various analytics for management decision making
•Cost control & optimization
•Monthly rolling forecasting
•Annual budget preparation
•Support the business finance controller on ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Accounting with experience in Revenue and receivable
