We are hiring a Junior Legal Counsel, on behalf of a global leader in manufacturing and supplying HVAC solutions to be based in their Dubai Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drafting and reviewing all kinds of legal documents (Agreements, MOU, AOA, SHR, addendums etc…).
Contracts negotiations, and close-out, extension, amendment, renewal and management registration and renewal processes.
Implementation of regulatory compliance requirements (Laws, regulations, and company rules) while being responsible for maintaining up-to-date corporate information by conducting regular updates among the subsidiaries and business partners and improving the processes through a proactive approach.
Coordinate with other internal teams and business units in respect of all legal and compliance matters and execution of documents.
Developing and maintaining internal and external correspondence and communications, letters related to existing agreements, business relationship, disputes, and legal issues upon request of the Head of Legal.
Stay informed and up to date on local legislation, regulations, Ministerial decrees, etc.
Liaise with external parties such as judicial authorities, regulators, police, external counsel clients, public prosecution, and other law enforcement agencies on behalf of the company when requested by the Head of Legal
Manage to archive all company contracts in accordance with company rules, ensuring compliance (such as policies, insurances, contracts, any company documents within the legal department, etc.).
Conducting legal and compliance research, presentations and training when required.
Periodic reporting to the Head of Legal for all the engagements before and after providing the advice to stakeholders
Acting as a reliable contact within the organization and is expected to build strong and amicable relationships with all the colleagues.
Assisting to ensure the smooth running of the legal department.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Law
2 – 4 years of experience in a similar role and industry.
Knowledge of UAE laws and regulations.
Fluency in Arabic language (written and verbal)
In-house legal experience is an advantage
