Role Summary:
Fully responsible for the preparation process for all product formulas, and formula development in the factory.
Responsibilities and Duties:
*Full supervision on the preparation process to meet GMP standards for all products.
* Verifies proper raw materials and sets its requirements for suppliers.
* Troubleshoot/solve formulation and preparation process issues.
* Continuous improvement of product formulations by research and development of products and production procedures.
* Formulate new products from raw materials using a strong understanding of chemistry in the context of competing products, the regulatory framework, and customer application requirements.
* Works collaboratively with all other departments to meet production targets and minimize wastages.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and requirements including wearing the appropriate factory uniform.
* Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is accurate, precise, properly documented, and within the GMP requirements.
Qualifications/Education Requirements:
* 3 years minimum experience as a Formulator or similar role (essentially Chemist), preferable in Cosmetic or Personal Care Products Factories.
* Required education: Chemistry or Pharmacy bachelor’s degree or its equivalent certificate.
* Preferred Language: Arabic and English (are a must).
