We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Events & Media Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and a proven track record of managing media accounts and creating successful events. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery of events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches, and experiential marketing campaigns.
Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with clients to ensure healthy long-lasting partnership
Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Collaborating with the events team to ensure all aspects of the event align with the overall concept and theme.
Managing media accounts and developing strategies to increase visibility and reach for clients.
Negotiating contracts and rates with vendors and suppliers.
Overseeing event budgets and ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported.
Creating detailed project timelines, and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Staying current on industry trends and emerging technologies and incorporating them into events as appropriate.
Communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure events meet their expectations.
Generating leads and identifying new business opportunities.
Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of clients’ business, industry, and competition.
Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing and sales to develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
Managing and tracking performance metrics and reporting them to senior management.
Continuously seeking new opportunities for growth and expansion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Public Relations or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and media account management, with a proven track record of creating successful events and managing media accounts.
Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team, experience in team management is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to think creatively.
Experience with event planning software and media buying software is a plus.
Strong knowledge of media buying and planning, including traditional and digital media.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
