Introduction
Maison Privee is tech enabled hospitality company providing vacation and corporate rentals in the UAE that combine the service and convenience of a premium hotel with the privacy and comfort of home.
Due to the growth in demand for short-term vacation rentals, coupled with the emergence of globally recognized distribution platforms such as Airbnb, Maison Privee was founded in March 2017 offering high standards of accommodation and service focused on corporate visitors and discerning tourists.
In April 2018, we closed our Series A funding round at USD $4,000,000 and continue to expand our portfolio of properties throughout Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
We hand pick luxury properties in the best locations and support them with extensive services to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience with every stay.
We are licensed by Dubai Department of Tourism Commerce & Marketing (DTCM) to register and manage properties.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an outgoing and organised reservation sales agent to help manage the high volume of inbound enquiries and to close sales with potential clients. The successful application will assist with all reservations activities and coordinate the requirements with the departments concerned including but not exclusively the following:
Ensure all reservations are processed in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner
Act as the primary liaison between the guest and the company
To prepare work schedules according to occupancy forecasts
Handle reservations, inquiries and cancellations in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner
Quote available rates to maximize room revenue according to company standards
Coordinate with clients and the Guest Relations Team of Maison Privee for bookings, room availabilities, and extra services
Up-selling of additional services, apartments, villas or penthouses
Enter reservations into the reservations system according to standard operating procedures
Maintain accurate files and reports
Ensure quality of work provided meets the expectations of the company
Perform other relevant assignments as requested
Skills & Experience
To be an effective Reservations Sales Agent, the candidate must demonstrate:
Minimum of 2-year experience in a similar role with a UAE vacation rental company
Fluent English mandatory, Arabic or Russian desirable
Responsible, motivated, team player
Must possess a customer first mentality
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Good skills with numbers
Able to take on a task and see it through to completion
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems on the fly without having to seek assistance
The ability to handle pressure
Skill in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks at the same time
Attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisation
Languages
English (fluent), Arabic or Russian are advantageous
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
Professional experience:
Experience within a hotel or holiday home operator in the UAE essential
Languages:
English (fluent), Arabic (desirable), Russian (desirable)
