Dacha Real Estate have an exciting new job opportunity available for an Assistant Accountant!

Job Role:

• Check emails on daily basis and respond to queries and requests of agents and clients

• Posting of general entries in the system

• Prepare invoices and issue receipts from the system, as per agent’s requirements.

• Follow up payments of agency commissions and arrange their collections.

• Receive and record cash and cheque payments.

• Posting of rental amounts to ledgers once payments are received in bank.

• Prepare and submit monthly office utility bills statement for payment.

• Assist in the completion of the monthly general ledger accounts

• Assist with reconciliation of accounts

• Keep track of collection, posting and depositing of PDC’s on due dates.

• Maintain security deposit cheques and secure them

• Maintain proper filing

• Maintain cash & cash equivalents.

• Prepare & reconcile landlord ledger

• Schedule, attend and participate in meetings as needed.

• Ensure all receivable invoices of sales & leasing payment, reimbursable, and other receivable income are properly issued and entered in the system.

• Send out all invoices and reminder letters to the tenants.

• Ensure all accounts, revenue reports and department files are up-to date.

• Ensure accurate allocation of costs for each activity to ensure accurate accounting.

• Assist the manager with adhoc tasks

Candidate must have the following:

Experience in Real Estate is ESSENTIAL

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software

• knowledge of accounting principles

• Solving skills and analytical thinking

• Prior accounting experience
