Fisheries Development Oman
International Seafood Company is a subsidiary of Fisheries Development Oman. The company is planning to set up Sardine & Tuna cannery project with ancillary plant and related facilities in Duqm with ultimate processing inflow capacity of around 30KT/Year of Sardine and Tuna as well as Fishmeal and fish oil.
Purpose:
To implement strategies and drive forward the Sales & Marketing for ISFC and implement efficient marketing and sales business plans for its rapid growth.
To maximize revenue through the management and execution of growth-oriented, customer-centric product marketing & sales strategies. Provide relevant insights for development of the brand strategy and implementation of the branding initiatives in order to ensure a strong and positive brand image of ISFC and its products channels and streams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic:
Implement long-term product marketing strategy.
Plan and organize the implementation of the sales & marketing to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives.
Provide insights and inputs for marketing & sales initiatives, events and related budgets.
People:
Cross departmental knowledge sharing
Manage stakeholders’ interfaces and update matrix.
Operational:
Assist the Commercial unit head in the implement the Product Marketing & sales plans in alignment with the long-term
Strategic objectives of the Company.
Study, analyze and recommend the markets for products based on factory ramp up profile targets.
Manage and implement Product & Marketing Plans with clear goals, timings and accountability. Update based on results and alignment requirements.
Establish, execute product marketing agreements to meet company sales targets.
Work with retailers and marketers to build up the marketing and costumers base of the products in accordance with the strategic marketing plan for domestic and international growth strategies.
Work in partnership with Technical Development to determine the optimal product types, sizes and tastes that will appeal to the target markets.
Utilize competitive intelligence system and take appropriate action to maximize.
marketplace advantages and minimize potential weaknesses.
Explore and develop new opportunities for growth including new concepts or services and new.
customer relationships.
Continuously develop new product varieties in order to match customers changing eating habits and evolving demands.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, as well as determine and manage priorities.
Work with marketing agencies, branding consultancies, and stakeholders within and outside the organization in planning and executing brand initiatives.
Conduct research, analyze market conditions and competitor data to implement changes as needed.
Track and monitor brand perception in the market – both locally and internationally in comparison to the brand objectives; report findings and suggest actions to remedy the situation.
Ensure periodic audits to ensure templates, placards, banners and any other visual aids that carry the logos and corporate formats are consistent through regular checks and controls.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing management from a renounced university or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
6-8 years of experience in successful Sales & Marketing of similar food business.
Sales & marketing experience of canned sea food products is a major bonus.
