This role main responsibility is to drive organizational high-performance culture by acting as the subject matter expert on the development and management of Performance & Rewards policies, procedures programs. The role will develop, lead and implement the organization’s Performance & Reward strategies & tools to enable current and future business needs successfully met and achieved; while proactively conducting research to understand strategic performance and reward issues and market trends, to subsequently develop responsive programs, methods, systems, and approaches.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

Contribute to the formulation of SGS’s Performance & Rewards department strategyEnsure alignment of Performance & Rewards team efforts in implementing SGS’s HR Department Strategies.Support the development and implementation of the Performance & Rewards Department’s policies, procedures, and processes; and monitor compliance of subordinatesMonitor the performance of the Department against KPIs and objectives on a regular basis.Recommend improvements and efficiencies in line with SGS’s corporate priorities.Develop and monitor the annual budget of the Performance & Rewards in collaboration with Finance.Operational

Lead and direct the development and implementation of SGS’s performance management policies and procedures which ensure that the organization is able to attract, retain and motivate employees with the appropriate skills and experiences so that the organization is able to achieve its business objectives.Provides subject matter expertise and advises on all Performance and reward-related programs, policies and legislation to HR and Executive Management.Partners cross-functionally with internal (e.g., HR teams, Operations Management, Finance, Legal) and external partners (e.g., vendors, consultants) to manage the design and delivery of Performance & Rewards programs.Lead and direct the development and implementation of SGS’s compensation and benefit programs and activities which will meet the organization’s objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness.Conduct, gather, and analyze market survey data in relevance to pay benchmark and employee engagement. Prepare proposals with recommendations based on research and analysis of this information to present to management.Be aware of new and Employee engagement emerging trends as well as C&B requirements, and plan actions accordingly.Manage the ongoing modification of pay administration policies and procedures.Collaborate with HR CoE’s and HRBP teams, to develop and ensure appropriate communication strategies, administrative procedures, required reporting and audit processes are in place for all Performance & Reward programs.Ensure proper integration of salaries and benefits as part of the SGS’s total compensation package; advice on the design of best-practice performance, compensation, and reward systems.Evaluate the effectiveness of SGS’s Performance and rewards practices through internal and external research, benchmarking, and internal critical indicators. Make recommendations for future initiativesActs as a consultant to HR and business leaders on a wide variety of Performance & Rewards issues.Identifies technology, tools and platforms that are effective and cost-efficient in delivering relevant Performance & Rewards services.People Management

Ensure a high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing ongoing feedback and coaching team members within the team.Define goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the SGS performance management process.Direct planning and selection of manpower for the team, in line with the business and operational plans.JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Required

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, e.g. Business, Human Resource ManagementMBA or Master’s in a relevant field is a plusProfessional Certifications Required

· Relevant certifications in HR and/or C&B from internationally recognized bodies such as CIPD and SHRM (or CCP/GRP)

EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role
