We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Site Nurse to join our team in the Abu Dhabi & Al Ain United Arab Emirates. The Site Nurse will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees at various work sites. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to health and safety management.
Responsibilities:
Provide First Aid: Render immediate medical assistance and first aid treatment to employees in case of injuries, illnesses, or emergencies on site.
Health Assessments: Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and vaccinations to ensure the well-being of employees and prevent potential health risks.
Medical Care: Administer medications, perform minor medical procedures, and provide medical care as needed while adhering to medical protocols and standards.
Health Education: Conduct health awareness programs and training sessions to promote health and safety awareness among employees.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, incident reports, and documentation of medical treatments provided.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond effectively to medical emergencies and coordinate with external medical services if required.
Health Monitoring: Monitor and track the health status of employees with chronic conditions and offer guidance for their ongoing care.
Health and Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to ensure compliance with local regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
Medical Supplies Management: Manage and maintain medical supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure availability and readiness for emergencies.
Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with the health and safety team, management, and external healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to employee health.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Valid HAAD Registered Nurse License
Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a similar role or industrial setting.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medical procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in medical record keeping software.
