BPG, an integrated communications agency, is looking for a bilingual Social Media Manager who is fluent in English and Arabic.
The role is for an experienced, strategic and highly creative individual to lead on key social media accounts and projects. We’re looking for someone that lives his/her life on social and understands the power it has to communicate and change perception. It means rolling up one’s sleeves and have the willingness to do what it takes to build a successful practice with clients, as well as educate, mentor and motivate colleagues.
The nature of social media is one that’s dynamic and constantly evolving. This means that the role too, will change along with industry trends and market forces. The candidate will therefore need to be flexible enough to ensure the social team is always relevant & innovative within the current market scenario.
Responsibilities:
.Team Management
·Day to day management of the social media function at BPG
·Develop social media strategy for clients including the development of social content calendars, campaigns and initiatives
·Develop day-to-day content and community manage a set of client pages
·Work directly with team to plan regular content publishing schedules and approve final content before publishing
· Development of FAQ’s, Tone of Voice, standards for SM, for clients where required
· A basic knowledge how to set up and manage paid social media campaigns
· Lead the development and direct the implementation of a wide range of content forms, including video, text, still imagery, animation, live action and other content forms that best utilize the technology available on any given social media/digital platform (this may include on ground presence at events, client premises, etc.)
·Liaise with creative content designers within the creative department to ensure creative assets are optimized for performance
·Serve as the agency subject matter expert – understanding the trends and working with the teams to develop and implement best-in-class strategies, breakthrough creative content and leveraging both established and emerging platforms
·Be able to understand the role social plays within integrated communications
·Build and grow the social media team and client portfolio
·Work closely with channel partners including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc. to deeply understand platforms and identify first mover opportunities
·Oversee the day to day management of the agency’s social media presence, guiding in house team on content ideas and execution of content.
