NOTE: Only Arabic speaking candidates based in Qatar will be considered due to the nature of the role.
This leadership opportunity will report to the Chief HR Officer of the group, and work closely with the CFO. This is a broad generalist HR role coupling the needs to deploy a hands-on approach in dealing with operational HR issues with the requirement to influence senior stakeholders. The transition will also require extensive planning, policy redevelopment and change management. Beyond this, the HR Manager will form part of the Oracle implementation team.
Responsibilities
·Drive the strategic direction for the people agenda ensuring high calibre talent is attracted, engaged and developed.
·Working in a standalone position, the role of the HR Manager will be responsible for all generalist management and to deliver a professional and high value-added and fit for purpose HR service to all employees.
·Take the lead on end-to-end operational HR, as well as organisational design.
·Working with and advising senior management and heads of departments on all people related matters, scale processes to build culture and improve employee experience.
·Define and implement a new organisation structure to reflect areas of growth.
·Develop an understanding of the business processes and teams the HR Manager is supporting and leverage their application knowledge and experience to collaborate as solutions are defined.
·Partner with Oracle project sponsors, owners and key stakeholders to understand the objectives of the project and assist in the development and presentation of proposals for approval.
·Conduct thorough investigations and develop solutions to complex employee issues and concerns.
·Assist managers with coaching, corrective actions, improvement plans, goal setting, performance reviews, and salary recommendations.
·Maintain a strong relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
·Monitor, track, report and ensure compliance with local employment laws.
Requirements
·This role would suit an HR Generalist, HR Manager or HR Business partner. Experience within a holding/public listing company would be beneficial but not essential.
·Used to working in a fast paced environment autonomously.
·You are comfortable operating in a hands-on capacity.
·You will have HR change management experience including policy & process redevelopment as well as cultural change.
·The position requires an exceptionally organised and confident Human Resources professional who can form strong business partnerships at all levels.
·Able to listen, relate, lead and who is truly passionate about developing a HR function that helps a business work effectively.
·Hands-on experience with HR database administration, payroll systems and ATS. Familiarity with Oracle HR management systems is a plus.
