Maximus is looking for an IT Director to lead, develop and manage the IT Strategy and IT Service Delivery in KSA across multiple domains of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) including IT Developments, Infrastructure, Operations, Helpdesk, End-User, Security and Support Service. This person will steer, develop and manage IT developments in line with the Business Objectives, Roadmap and Strategy. In conjunction with the EMEA Global Team members the IT Director will set short-term and long-term objectives for the KSA IT Delivery and ensure IT standards and policies are aligned and compile with Maximus Group, Industry and Regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Define, develop and deliver the business IT Vision, Roadmap and Annual Strategic Plan and translate into actionable goals to meet business objectives.
Ownership, and lead on the management, developments and maintenance for the business IT landscape and technology domains.
Oversee department budgeting, forecasting and spend.
Plan and lead technical IT project developments ensuring quality, time and budget are met.
Identifying and recommending new technology solutions and services.
Direct the framework and discipline for IT Service Management with industry standard ITIL guidelines.
Coordinating IT activities to ensure the availability of network and application services.
Identifying future challenges in the IT landscape or services and develop mitigation strategies.
Participate in all operational discussion groups aimed at forming solution to existing problems related to technology solutions that support business process improvements.
Directing, managing and supervising IT staff on IT development’s, day-to-day IT operations and service delivery. Manages and motivates team members, reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity and supports their professional development to enable employees to optimize their contribution to the department.
Lead and manage the technical implementation for the security architecture and controls through identifying security risks and eliminating them with strategic solutions.
Formulating and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Managing relationships with all external vendors and IT suppliers, creating high quality and cost-effective partnerships as well as inputs for improvement in technology and services provided.
Work closely with the EMEA IT to leverage Maximus Global Group led technologies and enterprise agreement initiatives, to ensure best value is achieved for Maximus KSA, where possible.

Knowledge:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or similar.
PMP, ITSM, ITIL and COBIT certifications preferred.
Can lead and manage all domains of IT.
On-Premises, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS platforms and services.
Infrastructure platform, IT operations, application services, IT helpdesk service and end-user computing.
Technical IT security and controls.
Enterprise level solutions for infrastructure, operations and end-user.
Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) / IT Service Delivery for quality IT service and uptime.
Information Governance and Data Security.
Broad knowledge of technology trends.

Skills:

Ability to manage and develop teams to implement company-wide programs of activity.
Business IT problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
Experienced in leading, developing and motivating a team of subject matter experts.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence decisions with internal and external stakeholders.
An ability to role model and drive change company-wide through the implementation of systems and processes.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in designing, implementing and managing IT services and technical teams.
Previous experience in a similar role (Senior IT Manager / Head of IT / IT Director)
Have a proven track record in the delivery of IT roadmap and/or strategy.
Proven experience leading multi-cultural teams in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum 10 years’ specific experience leading delivery of IT projects, infrastructure service, managing applications, IT operations, IT helpdesk service, end-user computing and security.
