The Technical Application Manager is responsible of Managing all Project(s) design activities to ensure quality and accuracy of project design documents and Develop the solution execution.
Responsibilities:
Project operation:
Ensure quality of the design documents submittal for all projects in line with the customer’s requirement and standards
Ensure the BOMs released from Design Dept. to Materials Dept.
in line with the customer’s requirement and standards.
Develop the activity schedule for design engineers.
Maintain proper filing/ archiving of the projects technical files.
Train & coach newly recruited Sr. Application Engineer(s) and Application Engineer(s), for carrying out project application support.
Planning for projects application engineers
To review design / document submittal dates for the projects from Design Department.
Constantly review and Adjust role clarity between Projects Application & Design Department.
Validate cost sheet items in launching stage
Suggest the proper optimize solutions with direct impact in the margin.
Manage the creation of the Coordination study Reporting using ETAP Software if required.
Customer satisfaction:
Ensure quality of the design documents submittal for all projects in line with the customer’s requirement and standards.
Ensure PIM, IPI and FAT Milestones and comments closing.
Project customer Quality claim
Reporting:
Control the projects Technical changes filling.
Control the project submittals.
Control Product Form.
Technical assistance/ Support:
Provide technical support during the pre-sales and sales activities.
Attend customer meetings with projects Managers/ Engineering
Interface Design between Supplied Packages.
Approve suppliers Technical Documents/Submittals.
Provide technical support for new Solutions/Products
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 to 10 years experience
Batchelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with previous experience in solution execution.
