Responsibilities

Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions.
Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
Verifies security systems by developing and implementing test scripts.
Identifies security gaps; evaluates and implements enhancements.
Prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Designs, builds, implements, and supports enterprise-class security systems.
Aligns organizational security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology strategy.
Identifies and communicates current and emerging security threats.
Designs security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge.
Plans, researches, and designs robust security architectures for any IT project
Creates solutions that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements.
Identifies security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommends changes or enhancements.
Reviews and approve the installation of any new security technology within AL RAJHI BANK.
Tests security systems to ensure they behave as expected.
Regularly communicates vital information, security needs, and priorities to upper management

Qualifications

Minimum 10-15 Years of hands-on experience and have multiple high-end security certifications.

Several of the most notable certifications for cybersecurity architects and related professions include:

✓ Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)

✓ Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

✓ Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

✓ Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

✓ SANS-related certifications such as GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA)
