Job Descriptions
EMC Backup candidate with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry and 7 years of experience in Backup implementation, Architecture, administration, and troubleshooting.
Excellent knowledge of Dell EMC AVAMAR, Data Domain, and Networker
Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge on Backup infrastructure to administrating/architecting backup solutions
Manage different Backup configurations, Agent and Snapshot based backup clients
Manage different restore operations: Complex and Cross restore
Installation and configuration of Backup servers and Clients
Analyze existing backup environment and provide expert advice for optimizations
Understanding functionalities of key Backup components/processes
Deduplication/ Encryption /Replication/Reclamation/Migration/Snapshot/Retentions
Diagnose backup issues and follow up with root cause analysis. Strong administration and architectural knowledge on AVAMAR, Data Domain, and Networker
Configure Backup clients (Guest/Snapshot), Storage Unit, and Pool management
Auto deployment approaches (Backup clients/proxies, Backup Group, Dataset, and Policy management
Troubleshooting backup failures and performance issues, Participate in Disaster Recovery, planning, Changes, Upgrades, Implementation, and tests as scheduled
Coordinate with the Vendor for the complex issue and upgrade planning
