Duties / Responsibilities:
Strategically manage the warehouse in accordance with the company’s policies and vision.
Supervising the receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
Planning the setup and ensuring the optimum use of the available spaces.
Coordination and follow-up on the implementation of operational policies well.
Comply with all requirements of storage and shipping legislation.
Providing other departments with all daily orders.
Receipt of the supplied materials and delivery of a copy according to the dispatch to the Procurement Department.
Documenting the materials entering and leaving the warehouse.
Arranging the raw materials in the correct manner inside the warehouses and placing a label on it so that it is easy to access it without trouble.
Ensure the safety of storage in warehouses and the availability of safety means against fire.
Ensure that warehouses are ventilated for the goods that require that.
Putting identification cards for warehouses and the contents of each warehouse.
Developing warehouse management/department models.
Building a database on the assets/location of goods in each store.
Make sure to use the first-in, first-out method.
Receiving and arranging the goods properly to avoid damage or breakage.
Managing and organizing the time and training of warehouse workers.
Maintaining the cleanliness of warehouses and ensuring easy access to goods.
Develop plans for warehouses and locations of goods.
Ensure the presence of safety devices / fire extinguishers.
Optimum use of available space in warehouses.
Maintaining health, safety, hygiene and security standards.
Inventory control management using various data storage programs.
Preparing the annual budget and communicating with customers, suppliers and transport companies.
Preparing the work plan, assigning tasks appropriately, and evaluating the results.
Supervising the selection and recruitment of competencies and providing appropriate training and motivation to employees.
Preparing reports and statistics periodically, such as entry and exit reports and available quantities reports.
Requirements:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
3-4 years experience in warehouse management.
