Assistant Store Manager & Senior Florist

Job Description

To manage the store retail, staff, the logistic of products and the retail operations.
To monitor and report on employees’ respect of the daily working hours planning schedule.
To enforce the respect by all employees of the store company policy.
To manage and allocate duties to each and all retail staff including drivers.
To enforce the respect by all employees of the uniform and personal appearance policy.
To control the employee’s behaviors towards clients and colleagues.
To manage and train employees on the POS retail solution.
To report daily to the head management and report on any discrepancy.
To confer with clients regarding desired flowers arrangements and prices.
To create arrangements with florists accordingly to client’s requirements and in respect of the   company standard design patterns, utilizing his knowledge of floral design and the specificities of the selected products.
To select with florists’ flowers and foliage for arrangements, working with numerous combinations to synthesize and develop new creations.
To monitor the store inventory and to report to the head management on the shortage of inventory, to enable the placement of orders to purchase flowers and supplies from wholesalers and growers.
To create and change in-store and window displays, designs, and looks to enhance the store’s image.
To conduct classes or demonstrations, or train junior florists.
To manage all store operations under the strict respect of the store management guidelines remitted to her.
To manage all sales generated on site, by phone and through the website and Instagram account.
