We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer as a QA/QC Engineer (previous +4 Years’ working experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Jubail Industrial City or Yanbu Industrial City, KSA) to join our Operations Department.
We are in search of a QA/QC Engineer who closely knows how businesses runs in the area and have enough experience in Valves and Pipelines. The applicant must obtain knowledge of engineering standards, process-compliance auditing skills, knowledge of quality standards including ISO, ASME, ARAMCO and SABIC standards, as well as suitable qualifications in the QA/QC field.
Scope:
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in all aspects of our business, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively to meet business goals and standards. The primary role, is to participate in activities related to auditing, inspection, analyzing, planning, developing and implementing quality standards as per best international practices. You will be responsable for achieving the exceptional value that is consistent with the company’s vision and marketing objectives by close attention to quality, procurement, and field service operations. You wil develop and implement a quality protocol for the company. You will evaluate and optimize our daily operations and contribute effectively in the process of implementing quality standards to meet the company’s objectives. You will plan and report to top management.
Principal Contacts:
Frequent independent contact with all levels of senior management, operations and business. Build networks of excellence with outside local and international organizations/institutions, technology centers, private organizations, etc. May serve as ALSAMAMAT’s spokesman on technical matters related to thier expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold an Engineering Bachelor’s degree Mechanical engineering from a recognized and approved program. Post Graduate qualifications in QA/QC with strong process-compliance auditing skills is preferred.
You MUST have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in refining or petrochemicals focusing on Oil and Gas fields, including experience in the inspection of operations quality in Valves Testing, Motor Rewinding, Balancing, Pumps maintenance, Over-Healing and Electro-Mechanical activities.
The candidate has broad technical credibility and a deep understanding of engineering standards to implement them on daily operations.
The candidate has an extensive track record initiating, guiding, conducting projects and developments in oil and gas with an ability to connect technology, standards & developments and operational excellence.
The candidate has broad understanding of ARAMCO and SABIC procedures and standards, and is capable of meeting their needs in terms of inspection requirements and standard requirements.
The candidate has the vision, the energy and the entrepreneurship spirit to develop and update new standards and tackle challenges.
The candidate has the ability to anticipate, appreciate, catalyze and make the most of changes and new developments.
The candidate has excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate provides superior technical insight/guidance to the daily workshop/project operations (complex troubleshooting, critical project elements, and oversee the efficiency of projects outcomes) as ALSAMAMAT’s ultimate technical and quality authority in (industrial services, scale-up, engineering, valves and connects with/brings in the world’s best practices when/as needed).
The candidate is the motivating force, in the fundamental quality area and oversees the development programs to build staff technical competencies/excellence. And is accountable for the training and certification of ALSAMAMAT’s QA/QC staff.
The candidate is accountable for implementing ISO and ASME policies, procedures and standards.
The candidate is accountable for establishing, updating and implementing quality inspection plans for all projects and work sites.
The candidate is accountable for developing and institutionalizing ALSAMAMAT’s QA/QC expertise, know-how, controls and capabilities.
The candidate develop & implement quality protocol for the company’s branch.
The candidate ensures that ALSAMAMAT’s quality standards, guidelines and policies are formalized into the company’s QA/QC manual.
The candidate ensures ALSAMAMAT’s QA/QC manual is regularly updated and available for consultation.
The candidate manages the documentation and institutionalization of lessons learned concerning quality. And prepare regular reports to top management in this regards.
The candidate indetifies and tracks QA/QC KPI’s and devises plans and initiatives for improvement.
The candidate monitor the proper implementation of daily operations.
The candidate provides support for the professional development of staff reporting directly to him.
The candidate coordinates with the Operation Manager to ensure that quality plan and construction plan are aligned.
The candidate coordinates with Procurement for conducting inspections of purchased materials ensuring that it meetes ALSAMAMAT’s quality standards.
The candidate coordinates with client appointed quality inspection teams to resolve complex QA/QC issues.
The candidate promote a learning environment and implement self-development to maintain and improve expert status within your engineering specialty.
The candidate interacts and manages all QA/QC on-site staff and operational issues on a daily basis.
The candidate coordinates with local and international organizations/institutions for updating ALSAMAMATs standards
