The key purpose of this role is to assist Director of Human Resources in all day-to-day HR activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HR Department.
Manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office.
Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS);
Employee relations.
Manages disciplinary process and procedures.
Employee orientation, development, and training.
Policy development and documentation.
Clarifies HR related queries of Line Managers in compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Manages the exit interview process and procedure.
Organizes colleague social events and recognition events.
Ensures all HR expenses are managed and in line with the budget.
Prepares HR statistics and reporting for monthly review by GM.
Compliance to the UAE Labour Law.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
Meets with colleagues who would lie to discuss any personal or work-related issues and build up a rapport to ensure that they feel confident to approach Human Resources for advice and assistance as when required.
Be firm and fair with all colleagues ensuring and maintaining an ‘open-door’ policy thus affirming that the colleague’s needs are met through active listening and providing the right results to their requests.
Be a liaison between the managers and colleagues for arranging communication meetings, announcements etc.
Be the drive force with the HR team to ensure that the information is collated, and the presentations are handled in a timely manner for the monthly colleague of the month events, the annual staff party and other such social events and gatherings which would include the participation of all colleagues and management.
Liaises with other Meydan entities for colleague’s participation in social and sports events etc.
Upon reporting of an incident, conduct disciplinary meeting with the employee in the presence of their HOD to ascertain details of the incident.
After evaluating the information and investigation of the incident – disciplinary process to be implemented as per the classification of offences schedule with the approval of HR Director
The HR process is also presented in brief to during employee orientation. This includes detailing the accommodation rules, Hotel rules and regulations, Time & Attendance policy, uniforms and image guide, Meals and transportation facilities, medical insurance etc.
Exit interviews to be conducted for C1-E grade employees (except dismissal), by encouraging employees to be open to the questions being asked and the answers are recorded on the exit interview form and to be reviewed with the employee
Ensures to update any crucial feedback to HR Director.
Monitors and manages recruitment process.
Verifies the recruitment request forms from departments to ensure requests are within the manpower budget
Ensure the recruitment process is handled by coordinators in compliance with HR policy and procedures.
Completes the HR statistics and turnover reports on a monthly basis.
Completes the Monthly GM’s report
Monitoring edocs on HRIS
Assist HR Director in developing and implementing new policies or revision of existing policies
In coordination with other members of HR department, organize events for the respective BU of Meydan Hospitality
Ensure all HR process/practices are in compliance with the UAE Labour Law and Immigration laws
Manage and oversee responsibilities assigned to HR coordinators and Administrator, ensuring that performance is up to the required standards, set processes which are followed closely in realization of departmental objectives. Constantly strive to maximize results and service provided to Line departments.
Manages expectations of the team, provides constant feedback, identifies training needs in coordination with Line Manager and ensures team objectives are aligned with department objectives.
Responsible for conducting PM Reviews ensuring that objectives and development plans are addressed in a timely manner and that staff are motivated.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
Hotel & Hospitality Management Graduate
Diploma in HR
Minimum 2 years’ experience in managerial or supervisory level in HR Department of Hospitality industry
Recruiting and Interviewing skills
Organizational skills

Knowledge of HR Policies and HR Systems
Strong administrative skills
Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office systems efficiently
