We are looking for a social media specialist who is innovative, forward-thinking, and well-organized. In this position, you will interact with different online groups and network users to spread the word about our client’s products and provide customer support to new audiences. You must be able to consistently produce insightful content across all social media channels, as well as respond politely and quickly to any online complaints or comments from our client’s customers.
Responsibilities
Create, develop and implement a social media strategy and editorial calendar based on research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Write, create, and plan online content production and scheduling
Assist with crisis management, negative media communications, and bad reviews.
Through dialogue and messaging, create meaningful connections and encourage community members.
Create and manage social media profiles and pages.
Moderate user-generated content and messages in accordance with company and community policies.
Analyze analytics reports to gain insights into traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; use this information to positively influence future outcomes.
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing projects.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to meet deadlines.
Stay current on industry developments and tools.
Requirements and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
Knowledge of the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
Knowledge of social media management platforms -Training is provided-
Understanding of social media metrics, as well as the ability to interpret the results and take action to improve the effectiveness of social media campaigns
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
