Buro Happold is currently seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Manager in Commercial Advisory to join our esteemed team. As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing our commercial advisory projects, providing strategic guidance to clients, and ensuring exceptional project outcomes. Leveraging your extensive experience in advisory work, you will drive business growth, foster client relationships, and lead a team of talented professionals.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage commercial advisory projects, ensuring successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and achievement of project objectives.
Provide strategic guidance and expert advice to clients in areas such as commercial project management, contracts, negotiations, and procurement processes.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the engagement.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of clients’ commercial projects, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommending effective strategies.
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions and strategies that align with clients’ goals and objectives.
Lead and facilitate client meetings, workshops, and presentations, effectively communicating project progress, findings, and recommendations.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring adherence to established targets and effectively managing any deviations.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in commercial advisory, applying relevant insights to enhance client engagements.
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking at industry events

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is highly desirable.
Extensive experience working for an advisory firm, specialising in commercial advisory, with a focus on project management and client engagement.
In-depth knowledge of commercial project management, contracts, procurement processes, and risk assessment.
Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and achieve exceptional results.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset and exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of navigating complex challenges and driving effective solutions.
Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in relevant software applications, including project management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite
