We’re is looking for an Linux and Storage Administrator to work with us in our Doha office. The person will be responsible of
the Installation & Administration of
Linux, SUN Solaris Servers
Storage and SAN infrastructure
SPARC Servers
Solaris Clusters
System performance monitoring and tuning
Firmware, Patch and software management
Administration of Cloud systems
Installation & Configuring Hadoop clusters and HDFS.
DNS server administration
Administration of HP 3PAR and IBM V7000, Dell Compellent Disk Arrays
Managing the Brocade SAN switches and zones
Data migration across different storage arrays
Implementation of snapshot backups
Configuring SAN backups
Disaster recovery process and implementation of SAN across multiple sites
Managing backup software’s like Veritas NetBack for Linux environment
Maintenance and Support of Tape Library devices
Maintenance and Support of Server Hardware (Dell, HP, IBM Lenovo, Huawei)
Maintenance and Support of Hyper Converge infrastructure (Cisco Hyperflex, UCS, Simplivity)
Creating architectural work products including Standard Operational Procedure Document & relevant artifacts.
Maintenance and Support of Oracle ExaData infrastructure for critical Application
8 + years experience
