Duties & Responsibilities
1. Installation and Maintenance: Installing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical generators to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
2. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving electrical issues or malfunctions in generators by analyzing wiring diagrams and using testing equipment.
3. Repairs: Performing repairs or replacements of faulty components, such as alternators, voltage regulators, or control systems.
4. Testing and Calibration: Conducting tests to ensure generators operate within specified parameters and calibrating control systems to optimize performance.
5. Routine Inspections: Regularly inspecting generators to identify potential problems before they escalate and conducting preventive maintenance.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensuring that generators and related electrical systems comply with safety regulations and standards.
7. Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for reference and compliance purposes.
8. Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations promptly to address generator failures and minimize downtime.
9. Upgrades and Modifications: Installing upgrades or modifications to enhance the efficiency, reliability, or capacity of generators.
10. Collaboration: Collaborating with other maintenance or engineering teams to coordinate activities and address broader electrical system issues.
11. Inventory Management: Managing spare parts inventory and ordering necessary components for generator repairs.
