*Job Title*: Accountant cum Logistics Coordinator – Food & Beverage Supply
*Location*: Dubai, UAE
*Salary Range*: AED 6,000 to AED 8,000
*Overview*:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Accountant cum Logistics Coordinator within our Food & Beverage supply chain team. This position requires a blend of financial acumen, logistical expertise, and industry-specific knowledge to ensure the seamless flow of goods and accurate financial management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, logistics operations, and familiarity with the unique challenges of the food and beverage industry.
*Responsibilities*:
1. *Financial Management*:
a. Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense processing.
b. Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
c. Monitor and analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
d. Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
2. *Logistics Coordination*:
a. Prepare Sales Quotation, Delivery Dotes & Sales Invoice for daily deliveries.
b. Coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of food and beverage products.
c. Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
d. Oversee the inventory process from procurement to distribution. This involves monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and reconciling discrepancies. Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
e. Maintain regular updates on stocks expiring in near future and coordinating with Sales/Marketing team for speedy liquidation of the same.
f. Implement and maintain efficient logistics processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.
*Qualifications*:
– Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
– Inter CA or equivalent certification preferred.
– Proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
– Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
– Proficiency in financial software and SAP B1 systems.
